4 Key Trends in Digital Experiences for 2025: Technological Innovation

In a world of constant change and acceleration, where innovation advances at an increasingly competitive pace, anticipating the factors that will transform digital experiences in the near future. This is why we have compiled four key trends that will transform digital experiences in the near future.

1. Massive Integration of Artificial Intelligence

According to Gartner, by 2026, more than 80% of software providers will integrate generative AI into their products. We are witnessing a widespread adoption of this type of tool, which, as we have written in previous posts, are demonstrating great capabilities to facilitate the workflow and help designers and all types of professionals to free up operational workloads. Let us remember, for example, Adobe, which at this year’s edition of Adobe MAX presented Max Sneaks, incredible advances in its AI tools (We recommend reading this article).

2. Extended Reality (XR) and 3D Design:

We see brands like Apple with its VisionPro product starting to venture into mixed reality and how the line between the physical and the digital is becoming increasingly thinner. On the other hand, we have Meta with its experimental project Project Orion, which consists of integrating AI, mixed reality and “wearables” that look more like everyday products, such as sunglasses. For designers, we recommend that you start studying and familiarizing yourself with the Vision OS UI Kit in Figma.

3. The Rise of Natural Language As an Interface:

Natural language such as speech allowed the term “Voice User Interface” (VUI) to be coined, and is now an increasingly used medium by users to interact with smart devices. Today, we see a wide adoption of it in smart speakers. Amazon with Alexa, Google and Sonos, to name a few, are clear examples of brands that are leveraging the use of natural interfaces.

4. WebApps: Progressive Web Apps (PWA)

Better known as PWAs or Progressive Web Assembly, it is a technology that allows the development of applications in the cloud, without the need to install any software on mobile or desktop devices. This allows a greater reach and greater versatility for brands when creating solutions, avoiding developing software in multiple code languages, ultimately reducing development costs. Some of them even allow offline ease of use. It is definitely a technology that will be increasingly used and adopted by the public. For example, Starbucks in its loyalty program in the United States has implemented a PWA which has been very successful.
