To transform a building with contemporary architecture into a functional, beautiful space that represents various scenarios from the region of Antioquia, Colombia.
Presentation
Masaya Hostel Medellín is a place that invites its guests and visitors to live an immersive experience of the local culture. It’s a modern 8-story building with restaurants, a café, a spa area, a bar, coworking space, and other amenities.
Solution
We conducted field research in different towns, taking photos of facades and finishes, colors, and materials that allowed us to accomplish our task.
Impact
The final outcome of the experience and interior design is a successful hostel with a consistently high occupancy rate throughout the year, where its guests and visitors enjoy various services and amenities meticulously designed to create a memorable experience.
