Last week, one of the world’s largest events in design and creativity took place: Adobe MAX 2024. This event lasted for 3 days and, in this edition, for the first time, it was held in the vibrant city of Miami, renowned for its art and inspiration. Adobe MAX took place at the iconic Miami Convention Center, famous for hosting events such as Art Basel.

Talks, technological advances and creativity at Adobe MAX
At Adobe MAX, there was an array of inspiring talks, demonstrations of technological advances in Adobe products, practical workshops to enhance the use of its tools, and a space dedicated to creativity, inspiration and networking called Creative Park. In this blog post, we’ll tell you what we consider to be the most relevant part of this important event.
1. Opening Keynote
On the first day, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen welcomed the event, highlighting the presentation of new features of Adobe products, many of them based on the use of artificial intelligence (AI). During the keynote, the president of Digital Media Business, David Wadhwani, reaffirmed Adobe’s commitment to the responsible use of AI, highlighting that “GenAI is a tool for human creativity, not a replacement.”
Among the new features presented, two advances stand out:
- Adobe Express, an easy-to-use graphic design application perfect for creating social media content.
- Project Neo, a 3D modeling software with a user-friendly interface and a very low learning curve.

2. Inspiration Keynote
The second day was filled with inspiring stories from multiple creatives. Artists like Devon Rodriguez, an illustrator from the Bronx who gained recognition through social media, and Emonee LaRussa, an audiovisual producer who, from a young age, decided to follow her instinct in a highly competitive industry with little female representation. Also standing out was Jason Naylor, a muralist who showed his true personality to the world, achieving great success.
The key message of this day was to trust our instincts, show our work and believe in ourselves. A totally inspiring experience!

3. MAX Sneaks: The best is yet to come
MAX Sneaks was impressive! In an hour and a half, Adobe developers presented their projects in development, with revolutionary features such as:
- Convert 2D illustrations to 3D in just a few clicks.
- Smart video editing.
- AI image generation from simple sketches.
- Real-time rendering.
- AI-generated sound effects and more

4. The Creative Park: The center of the event
The Creative Park was the epicenter of Adobe MAX. In this massive space, creative industry suppliers shared their products and services through interactive experiences. In addition, in the creative marketplace, a large number of designers presented and sold their work. Adobe was also present with the Adobe Experience, where experts provided support and recommendations on its products. Finally, the Creative Park Theater hosted numerous inspiring talks.

Workshops and Labs: Learning from the Best
In addition to all of the above, there were a large number of workshops, conferences and labs to learn how to use Adobe tools alongside renowned designers, photographers and artists. This event was an invaluable experience. With all of these lessons learned and the inspiration generated, we hope to be able to take full advantage of them and apply them to all of our design processes at Blaster.
